Tingkatkan Disiplin Berlalu Lintas, Walikota Medan Dukung Penerapan ETLE Nasional

Tobaforindo || Medan, Korlantas Polri terus melakukan implementasi perluasan penindakan hukum berbasis Elektronik Traffic Law Enforcement (ETLE). Melalui Direktorat Penegakan Hukum Korlantas Polri, Brigjen Pol Aan Suhanan didampingi Kombes Pol Made Agus Prasatya, Kombes Pol Twedy dan Kompol Davis melakukan Monev Asistensi E-Tilang dan ETLE di wilayah Ditlantas Polda Sumatera Utara, Rabu 8 Juni 2022.

“Untuk di Medan sendiri sudah ada dua kamera yang bisa diimplementasikan, sudah operasional dan barusan kita mengecek untuk implementasinya, dan ini sudah terhubung dengan ETLE Nasional Presisi, artinya tadi kita capture plat luar daerah sudah ada datanya disini,” ujar Dirgakkum Korlantas Polri Brigjen Pol Aan Suhanan didampingi Dirlantas Polda Sumut Kombes Pol Indra Darmawan Iriyanto di gedung TMC Ditlantas Polda Sumut

Aan menambahkan bahwa penerapan penegakan hukum dengan ETLE ini sudah diterapkan di 26 Polda, sebanyak 286 titik lokasi, ditambah kerjasama dengan pihak jalan tol ada 30 lebih kamera. Oleh karena itu, Aan berharap di Kota Medan juga bisa sama-sama membangun ETLE di jalan tol, terutama di ruas jalan yang rawan kecelakaan

“Dari evaluasi kami, ETLE yang terpasang di jalan tol Trans Jawa dan Trans Sumatera ini sangat efektif menurunkan tingkat fatalitas kecelakaan,” sambung Aan.

Aan menargetkan bahwa tahun ini seluruh Indonesia sudah terjangkau ETLE Nasional Presisi pada bulan September nanti.

“Tentunya ini target minimal, target maksimalnya seluruh stakeholder bisa membantu kita, bisa berkolaborasi sehingga semakin banyak dan masif. Sehingga tingkat kepatuhan di jalan bisa meningkat lagi,” lanjut Aan.

Dukungan penerapan ETLE juga diberikan oleh Walikota Medan Bobby Afif Nasution kepada Korlantas Polri dan jajarannya. Hal itu dikatakan langsung kepada Dirgakkum Korlantas Polri saat berkunjung ke kantor Walikota Medan.

“Tadi kami diskusi dengan Walikota, ternyata di program Walikota juga ada yang terkait dengan ETLE ini. Yang pertama program e-Parking, kemudian ada program dari dinas perhubungan yang bisa terintegrasi dengan kamera ETLE kita,” ujar Aan.

Aan mengatakan bahwa Walikota Medan Bobby Afif Nasution sangat mendukung penegakan hukum lalu lintas yang berbasis digital atau ETLE. Melalui Dinas Perhubungan Kota, Walikota Medan akan memberikan akses untuk 10 titik kamera yang akan terintegrasi dengan sistem ETLE Nasional Presisi.

“Harapan kami ke depannya tingkat kepatuhan masyarakat di kota Medan akan lebih meningkat, kemudian budaya berlalu lintas di jalan akan lebih tertib, dan pada akhirnya kota Medan akan menjadi kota pintar atau smart city,” pungkas Aan.(Mrk)
